I am reading a book given to me by my sister on the occassion of my birthday a few days back entitled, Room Of Marvels . I would love to go a ways back and tell of the loss of my son nearly 5 years ago, but that will be another post. This is strictly for the book. I picked it up and within a short 1/2 hour, I was 1/2 way through it. It is not only a great read, it is very much what we want to hear about heaven. It runs closely to the book 5 People You Meet In Heaven, I am really enjoying the book and although it brings many memories to mind, they are good ones.
The point I was going to make is this, the author makes a statement within the writings about how selfish we can be. We wish God would send them back to us and we mourn for their loss but they are in new bodies, with Christ, and what would it be for them to return? They'd have to eventually die all over again, not to mention, we'd be dragging them from paradise with our Heavenly Father.
Think about it!!

My prayer: Father God, never let me forget the memories, my memories, grant me the peace and understanding to help others who have lost children. Thank you Father, In your precious son's name, Amen
