LEARNING TO SPEAK

Each and everyday, Kaylee is learning to be an adult. At least that is how it seems. She learns new words whether we teach them to her or someone else does. So far we've been fortunate that they were all acceptable vocabulary words. haha
Today as she left to go to Mothers Day Out, she turned to me with a giant smile and said, "Have good day mommy." Wow, isn't that too cute!? She had just finished telling us that she was "ready to go have fun". I can't believe she is getting so big and talking in sentences at only 2 yrs. old. I guess they really do grow up fast.

COOPER KORDELL ALEXZANDER TOSCANO

Well, we have a baby. Kendra and John are the proud parents of a rather large baby boy that they named Cooper "Kordell" Alexzander. He came out weighing an amazing 9.4 lbs and was 21 inches tall. He is a big fella. He is absolutely beautiful. I know, boys are supposed to be handsome, but, he really is beautiful. When he scrunches up his face, however, he appears to be imitating Elmer Fudd. haha He and mommy are doing fine and will be staying at Great Grandmas house for a while. Feel free to call or visit if you know where they are. The'd love it!

GOD BLESS THE LITTLE ONES

Having a baby is such an awesome experience and I believe that we should pray for those unable to conceive. Having been in that position myself, I can honestly say that it is difficult to watch someone else going through it when you want it so badly but you set those feelings aside to see the wonderful experiences of your children having their own babies. I feel so deeply about women that cannot bear their own children and I know the suffering and feeling of desperateness that comes with each new month. My prayer for today is for women who feel so left out and incomplete due to the inablilty to have children and that God will gift them with a child whether it's through adoption, natural birth or surrogacy.
God, thank you for my children. Thank you for this baby that is coming tomorrow. Thank you for my friends and families and their children.
God, thank you for my husband. When the time is right, I know you will send us another gift of your creating.
God, be with and bless my daughter and son in law tomorrow as they go through the delivery of this baby and as they begin their new lives as parents. Bless them all.
In Jesus name, AMEN

TODAYS BLESSING

Today, what to some may seem like such a small thing made for a terrific day for me. My husband and I "worked" out in the yard. OK so to be specific, he did all the work and I supervised. It is his day off and as we are trying to make our home more marketable, we are doing things one step at a time to improve it's image. The blessing is this: when you have been trapped or confined to a specific location for a long time, just stepping into the outdoors makes the biggest difference. I was not alone. With Paul, I saw simple things I had not thought of in many months such as tree frogs, mating season for lizards?, and the beautiful day God allowed us to share together. Such a simple thing to some, a humongous blessing for me.
The only bad thing about any of this is that Paul had to do all the work alone while I sat by and drank my Dr Pepper and "supervised" his labors.
May each and everyone of you have a blessing today and may you have the heart to recognize it as a gift from our heavenly Father.
Have a great day.

OH THE AWE AND WONDER OF IT ALL!!

Can you believe how absolutely beautiful it is and has been outside?! Just amazing! I have enjoyed stepping out into the yard and just listening to the birds singing, the neighbors starting up their cars and leaving to work and waving at me as they pass by. Have you ever felt as though you had nothing going for you or you just could not find any joy in living for the day? Step outside, step out in faith, step out knowing and understanding and LOOKING for that special blessing that God has sent just for you this morning.
Go Ahead!
Just Step Outside!
If for some reason, you still cannot find a blessing, call an old friend you haven't talked to in a while, or call you mom or dad and tell them you love them, go and donate something to the youth shelter or the pregnancy center, there are so many things that you can do to bless others and you will be surprised that you end up with the blessings as well.
JUST DO SOMETHING!
I am.
I am telling you to take a moment and "COUNT YOUR BLESSINGS"
they are there and you will find one, then you'll find another, then you'll realize there are so many you may have to sit down to finish counting them. If you think you have too many, share some of them with others.
God Bless.

BABIES ON THE WAY

For those of you who know me, you have to know how excited i am with the upcoming arrival of our new grandchild. No, for those of you asking, I have no idea of what it will be except that "it" is a gift from God. Paul and I are looking forward to being "real" grandparents and are hoping Kaylee does well with the new baby getting all the attention. She tends to attract alot of it. We'll see how that goes. Kendra is doing well and we are in the last stretch of pregnancy. She has less than two weeks to explode, pop, I mean deliver the baby. John is pretty excited as well. Please keep them and the new baby in your prayers as they will soon be learning of the all night feedings, the endless diapers, the..."their is never enough money in the bank", and best of all, "MOM, please can you babysit"! Now I am really waiting for that one!

Just a short note as to why I wrote "babies" in the title. I am soon to be the new mommy of a little male Papillon puppy. He will be arriving next friday. I can't wait.

Ok first let me say that my puppy will not be arriving until next week due to stress!

NOW: We will be having the grandbaby on Thursday, the 21st of April, 2005 at BMH!
WELCOME BABY TOSCANO!
